How does hyperconvergence compare to other options?
Hyperconverged infrastructure is best suited for smaller data centers with lighter workloads. Although it offers the greatest efficiency and easiest scalability (you can simply add another node to expand all components at once), performance can decrease with the addition of too many nodes.
Hyperconverged solutions are preconfigured, giving you less control over component brand choice compared to traditional and converged solutions. If you’re not sure which platform is best, our Infrastructure Strategy Workshop can help you assess workloads and find the right fit.
